Some days the slightest thing can bring a teaching to our lives. Today while lighting up a candle, I didn’t let the match burn enough before trying to light up the candle and the flame went off. This very simple moment allowed me to acknowledge that before lighting up a candle we have to make sure to let the flame grow, so when the candle wick lights up it won’t extinguish all the fire with it.
The same thing that happens to the match can happen to us, before we can help others we need to make sure that we have enough “fire” in us in order to help others; otherwise we end up burning out like the little match.
Make sure to nurture yourself enough, grow the fire within you in order to lend a hand, that way everyone’s fire will grow. 🙏🏼❤️ 🔥 🌱
